The court has received reports that CM/ECF users are receiving malicious emails that purport to be from federal courts and set a response deadline of today.  The emails attempt to spoof a Notice of Electronic Filing and include either malicious attachments or links for recipients to click.  These emails are not legitimate.  Please see this attachment for an example of this malicious email.    Malicious Email Example  If you have questions about the authenticity of any email you receive that purports to be from the Court, please call the Clerk’s Office at (251) 690-2371.
