As of March 31, 2023 Alabama Southern District Court will no longer accept credit card payments or payments via phone for criminal debt.
Online Payment for Criminal Debt:
The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama now has the capability to accept on-line payments for Special Assessments, Fines, and Restitution up to a maximum of $5,000 per transaction.
- Payments may be made HERE via the U.S. Treasury website using a Bank Account or Debit Card or PayPal account. Defendants have the option to make a single payment, or create a recurring payment via Pay.gov based on a schedule of their choosing.

Please note that Southern District of Alabama does not operate Pay.gov, so operational questions may be referred to Pay.gov ONLINE HELP.
